We’re proud to share that Parkeray has received its 17th consecutive RoSPA Gold Award — marking our second year achieving the prestigious Order of Distinction. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety in the workplace.

This internationally respected award, presented by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), celebrates organisations that go above and beyond in preventing accidents and promoting wellbeing across their operations.

With nearly 2,000 entries each year from over 50 countries, the RoSPA Awards are the world’s longest-running and most prestigious safety awards programme. This recognition is a true testament to our people’s hard work and diligence.

At Parkeray, we’re committed to maintaining safe, respectful, and collaborative environments for everyone who steps onto our sites, and we’re proud to be acknowledged on the global stage once again.

Congratulations to all our site teams, project leads, and supply chain partners who made this achievement possible—a special shoutout to our health and safety team Terry and Paddy for their continuous dedication to ensuring site safety.

The awards keep on rolling in for 2019! This time around it was our Health and Safety team who were on the receiving end of well-deserved recognition for Parkeray’s safety performance throughout 2018.

It was a ‘Presidential’ affair on Tuesday 18 June, where Terry Tracey and Paul Makoff-Clark collected Parkeray’s 11th consecutive Gold (also known as the Presidents Award) at the prestigious RoSPA ceremony at the ExCeL, London.

The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards is internationally-renowned and the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK. Receiving entries from organisations around the world, the scheme recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

The majority of awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels. Gold medals, president’s awards, orders of distinction and the Patron’s Award are presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years.

Parkeray has been a proud member of RoSPA for over a decade. To be consistently recognised year on year by the scheme is a testimony to the hard work, dedication and efforts made by our management team, our supply chain and teams on site, who have all had a part to play in creating our positive legacy by adopting our no-nonsense approach towards health and safety.

In the construction industry where the area of health and safety requires strict monitoring and controlled processes, we are proud to champion this beacon of achievement for another year. ‘Safety First’ is our motto after all.

Parkeray’s Senior Health and Safety Manager, Terry Tracey commented:

“I am extremely proud of our record of RoSPA Awards over the past 11 years, they recognise the achievements of not just individuals, but our organisation as a whole.”

We’re are delighted to announce that we have qualified to receive our ninth consecutive Gold Medal at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards on Tuesday 20 June at the ExCeL, London.

Back in the early days at Parkeray, the idea of winning a RoSPA Award was considered a far stretch, only attainable by major industry players; 19 years forward, we have not only achieved this milestone but smashed it, with nine consecutive wins! This news comes at a special time for our business, having recently scooped eight CCS National Site Awards, which is the highest number of projects on record to date for Parkeray.

The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety and winning a medal demonstrates our commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record.
