ARCHITECT
RWCA/ Path Design/ Berman Guedes Stretton

VALUE
£1.4m

Natural History Museum

The first project that we secured for the Natural History Museum was the strip out, refurbishment and reconfiguration of the Central Hall toilets which included refurbishment of the listed building fabric, formation of new openings and the supply and installation of new bespoke finishes, fixtures and fittings. We also carried out all attendant work, plumbing and public health works, mechanical and electrical services.

This was followed by the strip out and fit out of the Green Zone restaurant and mezzanine floor staff kitchen. Galleries 35, 34 and Mary-anning were opened up to form a much enlarged restaurant banqueting hall including new kitchen and servery. The mezzanine level floor staff restaurant and food preparation area, toilets and office spaces were also included as part of this contract.
