Greg grew up on a farm in his native South Africa so rugby and all things connected seem to dominate Greg’s social life and loves nothing better than to relax with friends, enjoy a pint and regale a tale or two of how his beloved Springboks became world champions (twice!).
Mondays are a problem!
Greg was destined for the construction industry as it runs in his family. Gaining valuable experience from his younger years around building sites and his previous role as contacts manager, Greg joins our project management team.

She says she prefers to be kept busy and works well under pressure. Friendly and organised Jess likes to help others whenever she can and enjoys working in a team environment.

Oh and let’s not forget that she is a qualified football referee too!
Jodie joined Parkeray in 2002 working within the Estimating department keeping the boys (as was then) in check. She managed all estimates and submissions. After becoming a mum for the first time, Jodie returned to join the sales and marketing team as her keen eye for detail and the fact she was a stickler for alignment fitted perfectly!
She is a highly valued member of the team, is always helpful and willing to turn her hand to any task, from managing events, writing complex submissions and working on marketing campaigns. She is also responsible for managing our website and producing our in-house magazine; Parklife.
Outside of the office she loves going to the cinema, music and sport, Wimbledon tennis was always one of her favourites. She is a keen gig goer and loves a bit of rock, be it anything from Bon Jovi to Bryan Adams, but all this comes after ‘mum duties’ to her two children, which she says are her biggest achievement.
Joe joins our project management team with a wealth of fit out experience already to his name. Having stumbled into the industry by chance, Joe has worked his way up through the ranks from ganger to project manager and quickly discovered he preferred building offices rather than working in them!
He loves being hands on, problem solving and enjoys day to day life on site. Meeting and working with many consultants and contractors to deliver the finished project is what Joe thrives on. Laid back but driven he is a team player and believes that if one component fails, everyone does.

The rest, as they say, is history.
He is enjoying life at Parkeray and particularly being involved with the different mix of projects. Reliable and hardworking, the biggest thing Joe has learnt since joining the company is how to manage his workload and the ability to multitask.
Outside of work he is a huge Arsenal fan and regularly goes to see them play. He also plays golf in the summer when he gets the time and loves music.

Always look on the bright side of life
Joseph’s enthusiasm for construction started when he came across sustainability. Intrigued, he applied for a sustainability officers position where he soon realised he wanted to be involved in projects from conception through to completion rather than one aspect. Following his previous trainee project manager role, he now joins our trainee scheme to complete his BSc in Construction Management at London South Bank University.
Joseph is enjoying learning about different aspects of construction and how they come together in the fast pace fit out sector. While gaining valuable experience on site he relishes in finding workable solutions to get the job done.
In his spare time, Joseph is out quad biking or playing piano and writing music. As a teenager, he used to train in boxing, but during his time in Malaysia this developed into a passion for kickboxing.

Lesley joined Parkeray in summer 2014 and brought her wonderful laugh, quirky sense of humour and boundlessly creative ideas to the marketing team.
Her passion for all things marketing started when she was about 7 and at Heathrow, off to visit relatives in Barbados: she became fascinated with the airline’s marketing material and later wrote to other airlines requesting they send her theirs! This enthusiasm turned professional when Lesley set up Hotminute, a lifestyle and events online publication, and later started her career in marketing in the fit out construction industry before joining Parkeray.
Lesley has a wide range of interests outside of work, from attending unusual gym classes to car design, popcorn (strictly “sweet and salty” only), board games and everything in between. Everything but snow, which should be banned, according to Lesley!

He prides himself on the fact that he is a people person, easy to work with and a true team player. Mike enjoys working with and meeting new people, from supply chain to clients alike. He believes that coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.

A precise details man, he is thorough in his approach and loves working up details with architects. Mike has a calm temperament and is an enthusiastic team player. He is there for people and finds this is generally reciprocated.
Mike loves motorbikes and has renovated a vintage Honda 400-4….but can’t ride, which is his only regret. He has managed four flying lessons though!!

Mike always says and believes that Parkeray is a company “about people, for people”, get that right and the rest should be plain sailing.
For Mike, construction is about perspective and just doing the simple things well. Say what you do and do what you say, work hard, play hard, get on with people and have fun.

Personable and extremely professional Paul loves getting into the finer details of a project whilst finding the balance of working hard but having fun too.
A football fan, Paul is a lifelong Liverpool supporter and spent many a Saturday in his youth standing in the Kop. His four giant breed dogs take up the rest of Paul’s spare time. At 11 stone each the two Newfoundlands are water rescue dogs and the two Pyrenean mountain dogs in his own words are just ‘crackers’!
Paul started of life as an electrician before progressing over the years to become a practiced technical services manager. His experience is wide and varied having worked on both sides of the fence and he brings to Parkeray a wealth of industry knowledge.
Having come from a trade background, the quality and detail of the installation means everything to Paul and he is driven by a strong desire to get the job done right the first time. With a young family, Paul likes nothing more than spending quality time at home and when he does get the opportunity, he heads to the golf course or the driving range to perfect his swing. He also likes to keep up to date with the latest advances in technology and science.
The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is to high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it

Vince’s career in construction began after leaving school. He trained as a gas engineer and later set up his own building company, which kick-started his experience working on construction sites.
With 22 years experience on the tools as a dry liner under his belt, Vince worked his way up from site manager to contracts manager and eventually found himself working for a main fit out contractor for three years as a project manager. In his time there, he completed a £2.6m fit out, which resulted in the company’s first ever SKA Gold rating – an achievement he is especially proud of.
Family life keeps Vince busy. However, he enjoys live music and loves going to concerts as much as he can. Watching motorsports is another one of his favourite past times – any type will do, particularly Formula 1 and Moto GP (motorbikes).
Vince enjoys seeing a project through to completion and the client with the end product. He describes himself as a nightmare to work with “I’m always right! And I tend to think I can do the job better than anyone else, so I’m never satisfied”. It’s an approach that works and keeps the client happy. Thankfully, Vince isn’t as bad to work with as he thinks!
Being good at what you do takes a lot of hard work
Bishak started working with Parkeray back in 2002 as a self employed labourer. In 2005, through his work ethic and commitment we decided we should bring him on board full time. He now works as a site foreman and strong number two, mainly to Alan West, Jon Pye and Gerry Gilbert.
Bishak runs the day to day logistics, environmental and safety management extremely well and in doing so has received plaudits from all comers. His commitment has earned him our first elite ‘outstanding achievement award’ for his contribution to the successful operation of our site in the Commonwealth Building of ICL’s busy Hammersmith campus.
Some of the initiatives that Bishak has instigated are extremely creative such as the introduction of the “Bishhook” and no loading red zones both of which deal really well with some of the old perennials we often have to deal with on site such as trailing cables, damage to existing finishes and congested circulation routes.
Bishak came over from Gdansk in 2002 and in his words has ‘been lucky to come to Parkeray’. A long way from his childhood dream of becoming a footballer! He was pretty good, perhaps not quite good enough to be a pro but certainly held together the Parkeray 5 a-side team who only drew one game…….. and lost all the others!!!
Out of work, when not spending time with his wife and two sons, he loves tinkering on his computer, he studied IT basic C++ programming before leaving Poland.
