Cat B fit out and restack to 3 floors of office space, including new café and breakout area, new reception desk and modifications to the existing areas for open plan space and meeting rooms.
The 3rd and 4th floor remodelling included a new telepresence suite and new floor finishes, decoration, data cabling and a new AV installation.
An interesting challenge of the project was the creation of the café / breakout space and outdoor terrace, with all of the work carried out through a fully occupied trader floor. By building acoustic partitions and demarcating protected travel routes for our workforce, we were able to complete the work in hours without any disturbance to the Investec traders. The workstation reconfiguration, re-carpeting and redecoration was carried out over a series of weekends.
