Project Lends Helping hand at Local school

Well done to our project team at 99 Gresham Street led by Chris Marshall and Simon Park and subcontractors: Farcon, CBS Ltd, ADS Joinery, Impact Building Services and Raven Project Metals, for volunteering their time and expertise to renovate St Luke’s C of E School over the half term period.

The initiative was carried out as part of the project’s commitment to the Considerate Constructors Scheme and involved renovation works to enhance the schools general appearance and to improve access. Works included the replacement of existing PC workstations and decorations to an ICT room. The team also provided a new timber access staircase to a classroom; cleared an allotment and reconstructed an existing fence.

Works were managed by the general foreman Razvan Filisan and completed before term time resumed after the break period.

Delighted with the works Fiona MacCorquodale Head of School commented: “Everything that has been done appears to be of a very high standard, and it has made a real difference to those areas of the school.”

Well done to all parties involved for taking time out to make a difference in the community.
