Parkeray Lite completes brand-driven project at The Gherkin

We recently delivered a vibrant Design & Build fit-out on Level 3 of the iconic Gherkin building, 30 St Marys Axe.

Spanning 12,500 sq ft, this project was all about creating a space that perfectly reflects global specialty insurer, Ascot Group’s vibrant brand identity while delivering functionality and style.

We did this by creating a comprehensive design brief supported by live samples and benchmarking to ensure full alignment with the client’s brand colours.

The Cat B project featured bespoke furniture, a striking reception feature wall, new tea point, AV installations, and refreshed flooring and wall finishes. Standout elements also included Autex Cube wall panelling and stone workshops, combining functionality with aesthetic appeal.

One of the biggest challenges was improving acoustics between meeting rooms. To solve this, we introduced decorative acoustic panels and optimised existing floor power and data points to suit the new layout. Collaboration was key; we worked closely with Garnett Netherwood Architects Ltd and AV specialists, Kinly, to meet the design and technical requirements, ensuring the space was fully operational from day one.

This marks Ascot Group’s second London office. Already having a presence on Fenchurch Street, we’re proud to have been a part of their first move into the iconic Gherkin building.
