Parkeray is proud to announce the successful completion of a 40,000 sq ft workplace fit out for Uber’s new London headquarters, located in Aldgate.
This exciting project supports Uber’s relocation and future expansion plans, delivering a dynamic and flexible workspace that reflects the innovative spirit of the global technology brand.
Spread across three floors, the time-sensitive scheme included both Cat A and Cat B renovations, with a strong focus on reuse and sustainability. Our team delivered high-quality spaces while actively reducing waste by repurposing existing materials such as kitchen appliances, lockers, and meeting room elements.

A Vibrant Workplace for Work and Play
The scope included upgrades to existing facilities on two floors and full construction on one additional level. The result is a vibrant, multi-functional workspace with bright, colourful design and a range of collaborative and social zones, including open-plan and private meeting spaces, games room and library, townhall and events spaces, a central canteen with servery, reception and IT support areas and tea points on every floor.

Events Space with a View
The 15th-floor function space offers panoramic views across London, with access to an external balcony area, a newly extended tea point, and metallic wall finishes enhancing the space. A more streamlined layout was achieved in the conference area by reducing the sliding folding partitions from three to one. Flexible furniture and audio-visual solutions mean the space can accommodate many different purposes.
Smart Services and Sustainable Adaptation
A key element of the project involved significant services upgrades, including the installation of additional rooftop AHUs, new kitchen extract, supplementary AC. The existing commercial kitchen was enhanced with a new dish-drop and washing area and new walk-in refrigeration. The servery and café seating zone was completely renewed with AV, games area, bespoke joinery, lighting, tiled flooring and dividing walls.
This project is a showcase of how creative reuse, sustainability, and design excellence can come together to deliver a future-proof workplace for one of the world’s most forward-thinking companies.
Congratulations to all involved.
