The sun put on its hat for the second year in a row at our Charity 5-A-Side Football Tournament on Friday 8 June at Powerleague Shoreditch.

16 companies from the fit-out/construction sector comprising our clients, subcontractors and consultants were in it to win it in the name of our chosen charity, Prostate Cancer UK, with the Cup and Plate up for the taking.

This year’s winners were tournament first-timers, Quantem Consulting, who won a penalty shootout to take the Cup, leaving ChapmanBDSP as runners-up. It would appear that architects were running designs all over the pitch, with another set of tournament first-timers MCM Architecture and Threefold Architects scooping the Plate and runners-up.

A BBQ marked the end of another successful Parkeray 5-A-Side Tournament, as each team took time to rest their weary legs after blistering Group Stages in the sun.  A big cheque presentation was made to Prostate Cancer UK and charity representatives Izzy and Will explained how the £3,600 raised would benefit Prostate Cancer’s UK work.
