Our first Respect Coffee Morning of 2018 took place on Thursday 16 August. This time around, in the spirit of ‘Respect’, we promoted healthy eating on site by adding some nutritious alternatives to our usual spread of refreshments. Not only was Krispy Kreme’s on offer, we also provided healthy muffins, fruit, a range of smoothies and other snacks to help our teams kick-start their day the healthy way.
Upping the ante with the first ever Respect BBQ (despite the heavens pouring down) was our 200 Hammersmith Road team, led by Martin Wilson, who took to the terrace with a marquee to serve up a healthy selection of food.
Our Statues and Monuments competition sparked up some good old-fashioned rivalry and was a hit with all of the sites that took part, but it was our 55 Old Broad Street project that won themselves a team breakfast – having scored top marks by listing the name and location of 16 statues and monuments in and around London correctly. Congratulations to Jim Maxwell and his team as well as joint runners-up at our Portman Square and 200 Hammersmith Road projects who were only short by two points.
Parkeray’s Respect Coffee Mornings focus on our core value of ‘Respect’ and the important role it plays in our project delivery, communications and relationships on site. As we like to say, it’s not just a day, it’s part of our culture. Stay tuned for news on our next coffee morning!
