Ephraim Moses

Ephraim did his research, applied, met with Mike and was instantly attracted to the Parkeray ‘family culture’. Assured he would get all the support he needs whilst on our trainee programme, he is now enrolled on a Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship course.

A reliable, calm and level headed individual, he likes to get the job done in the right manner. Ephraim’s easy-going personality makes him an excellent team player and communicator. He is looking forward to meeting new people, learning all about his role as a project manager and enhancing his overall knowledge in construction to be the best he can possible be.

Away from work Ephraim enjoys spending time and going out with his friends and family. To relax and chill out he also like watching movies or catching a good series, but he also has a passion for driving and watching fast cars!

Chelsey Box

Quietly confident and polite, Chelsey greets everyone with her natural, warm welcoming smile. As office junior she works closely with our office manager to ensure Parkeray’s day-to-day business operations run as smoothly as possible.

Chelsey’s role also enables her to work alongside all the different departments within the business, getting a taste of how each one works to brings the company together. Dedicated and hard working she likes to be kept busy and believes that if a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing well.

Outside of her nine to five, Chelsey likes socialising with friends and going to festivals and concerts. However, her real passion is dance. She is a Championship dancer in Freestyle Disco Dancing, training hard and competing in competitions all over the UK. Chelsey enjoys attending dance festivals where she gets to dance for a whole weekend competing in many different styles.

Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass but it’s about learning to dance in the rain.

Paddy Keeble

Paddy joins Parkeray having spent a number of years in a Health and Safety role. Originally starting out as a fitter’s mate for a mechanical ventilation contactor he worked his way up and acquired a broad understanding of all construction related health & safety issues. Paddy also holds the NEBOSH certification and is a Committee Member of the Essex Branch for IOSH.

Paddy firmly believes that people are the key to everything, even more so when it comes to Health & Safety and he gets great satisfaction out of helping everyone do their job safely.  Paddy is very hardworking and approachable so can always be asked for his advice.

Outside of work Paddy is a dedicated family man with two young children and likes nothing more than spending time together on days out with them and his wife. His other love is music and plays the drums, more unusually, the Congas and the Bongos but admits he doesn’t play as much as should these days!

A man is not judged on how many times he falls down, but on how many times he gets back up.

Razvan Filisan

Raz is a huge asset to each site team he works with, friendly, organised and highly professional. He joined us full time in 2017 having previously worked as a site supervisor for a leading construction logistics company. Raz gained his experience through his involvement in many interesting projects including The Shard, Westfield, Stratford, and the Olympic Park.

He likes to have everything planned out, even the smallest detail so that nothing takes him by surprise. Raz loves interacting with different trades and finding solutions to everyday challenges. It gives him great satisfaction to deliver a successful project to the client.

Raz loves spending his free time with his family, getting out and about and relaxing in nature. They also love to travel and like to holiday as much as they can. His other passion is martial arts having practised Judo and Kung Fu now for many years.

It is not important to be better than someone else, but to be better than yesterday.

Beth Jepson

Passionate about her role, Beth is a Practitioner member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (PIEMA) and a qualified BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP) and Assessor. Beth joins our sustainability team with several years of experience delivering results within the construction industry.

Hardworking and friendly, Beth enjoys working in sustainability and helping projects reduce their environmental impact. She believes that within construction it’s great when a project comes together and all the client’s sustainability aspirations have been met.

Away from work, Beth likes to keep fit by running and is also a keen hockey player, playing for her local team. To relax she enjoys baking, especially cakes and when time permits, she loves travelling and has explored far-off places including Australia and Fiji.

Matt Austen

Matt has always been in construction, working his way up through the ranks from carpenter to senior contracts manager and along the way returned to college to gain his BSc (Hons) in Construction. With 25 years of practical experience at the front end of a project, Matt can apply the skills he mastered to his new role as preconstruction manager.

Quiet, positive, and always happy to lend a hand, Matt enjoys delving into all the preconstruction details and programme to assist the team to pull everything together.

Away from the office, Matt’s free time is packed full of hobbies that give him a real adrenaline rush including paragliding, paramotoring, and flying. For slower-paced activities, he enjoys camping, family holidays and loves cooking.

Life is a moving train – you can get on or off at any time – just remember the journey is better with friends.

Jamie Saunders

Dedicated and hardworking Jamie brings positive energy to his role as Business Development Manager. A recommendation led him to pursue a career in the construction industry and now with several years of experience in the position, he is concentrating his knowledge on assisting both our London and Regions teams.

Jamie is easygoing and enjoys the flexibility of his role, getting to meet new people and visiting our exciting projects. A real people person, his friendly personality is ideally suited to put clients and the project team at ease.

Away from work, he loves spending time with his young family, or you’ll find him doing something active either down at the gym or playing football or rugby. He also likes to travel and took time out a few years ago to travel the world.

Hard work pays off

Chris McPherson

Chris joins our commercial management team with an abundance of experience as a surveyor. Having started his career in Australia, he soon worked his way up and has now been involved in a range of sectors including retail, residential and fit out. He was recently part of the Battersea Power Station redevelopment project, which he says was incredible to be part of such a landmark project in the UK.

A reliable, approachable, and easy-going member of the team who enjoys meeting new people and building strong relationships. Chris is a practical problem solver and gets a great sense of achievement when handing over a completed project to the client.

When it comes to his time off it’s all about sport for Chris. He enjoys taking part in cricket, running and also his native Australian Rules football. When time permits, he also likes to travel and explore new countries.

Monica Baica

As office manager Monica is the first point of contact, greeting and welcoming our many guests. She brings a wealth of experience and positive energy to our HQ after many years of working as a guest experience manager and team leader.

Calm, proactive, and industrious she ensures the smooth running of the busy front of house whilst keeping a cool head. Monica loves everything about her role, is committed and organised but also likes to have fun along the way.

In her spare time, Monica loves spending time with her daughter, traveling, or settling down with a good book. As a teen, Monica played professional football in her native Romania, passionate about the game she still plays at an amateur level from time to time.

I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it

Pablo Picasso

Paul Speller

Paul’s previous roles in the industry have included project manager and liaison manager, so he joins the preconstruction team with extensive practical experience on sites to help our estimating and project teams.

Thorough in his approach, Paul enjoys the buzz of a challenge and the satisfaction at the end when everything is delivered as promised, working with a team to share the achievements. Highly professional, he likes to get things done and has been known to get quite competitive!

To relax Paul enjoys cooking and taking the family dog on long walks. He also likes to socialise with family and friends especially catching up with his three grown-up daughters.

Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.

Scott Payne

Scott has been around construction since college and furthered his education when he completed his degree while working full-time with one of the UK’s leading construction and infrastructure companies. During his career, he has worked for high-profile clients such as Imperial College London and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

He is organised, logical, and detailed, focused not only on the “big picture”, but also on the small elements of each project to ensure delivery. Scott loves being part of a team and enjoys meeting different people in the industry.

In his spare time, Scott likes to stay active and enjoys going to the gym, walking the dog, and catching up with family and friends. If he’s not doing DIY around the house; he did a complete renovation of his first home, he’ll be binging on Netflix or cooking.

Darren Knott

Darren has a wealth of construction experience to his name and worked for some large names in the industry whilst working his way up to the senior project management role he holds today. He has delivered a wide variety of projects and was once awarded an NHBC Pride in the Job excellence award.

He likes being involved in the project from start to finish, constantly pushing for improvements to complete each project to the highest standard possible. Committed and a genuine team player Darren enjoys building strong client relationships.

In his spare time Darren enjoys socialise with friends and family, dinning out, theatre and live shows. To relax, he can be found taking his golden Labrador, Oscar for long walks or on the golf course. He is also an avid football fan and follows Chelsea FC.

I think you’re alright, I don’t care what everyone else thinks…!
