Bruce Pounder 

Bruce thrives in a dynamic work environment, enjoying new challenges and meeting people to understand their needs deeply. His role involves managing design touchpoints across project stages—from pre-construction reviews to supplier engagement and design compliance. 

With his expansive experience, Bruce brings adaptability and dedication to every project.

Outside of work, he keeps active with hobbies like golf, DIY, travel, and spending time with family. His next goal? Earning a Powerboating licence. 

Joe Murray

As Assistant Sustainability Manager, Joe enjoys driving meaningful change and promoting sustainability within the industry.

Known for his friendly demeanour and reliability, Joe also has a creative and adventurous spirit. In his spare time, you can often find him rock climbing or playing Dungeons and Dragons. Additionally, he has a talent for special effects makeup, a skill that proves especially useful during the Halloween season.

Andy Hambridge

Andy enjoys the variety of projects and the people he meets throughout his role. He takes pride in being a team player, knowing that construction is a collaborative effort, and believes that the closer the team, the better the results.

In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and enjoys taking his dogs out for walks. He also has an ambition to complete the NC500 in an old-school camper van.

Described by his friends as quiet, understanding, and caring, he brings a calm and supportive energy to both his personal and professional life.

Goodness Egede

Goodness thrives in the creative side of her role, using content creation to tell the stories of projects and events. She’s easy to work with, and always receptive to feedback and new ideas.

In her spare time, Goodness enjoys playing tennis, traveling, hosting friends, and going to the gym. Described as funny, ambitious, and spontaneous, she dreams of starting a foundation to support underprivileged women and children in Nigeria.

Marcus Brown

Before joining Parkeray, Marcus worked in as a personal trainer for
many years, where he acquired a range of transferrable skills, which are
relevant to his role today, such as strong communication and the ability
to develop good working relationships.

Marcus is a reliable team player with a positive approach. Although
known for his easy-going attitude he is very competitive on-site, he
enjoys being challenged with new tasks and responsibilities every day.

Andy Bush

With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, Andy’s background in commercial management hails from key players in our sector. He brings to Parkeray an abundance of fit out and refurbishment experience within both the public and private sectors.

Easy going, approachable Andy likes working as part of a team both in the office and on site. He is hardworking and enjoy the fact that no two projects are the same, bringing different variety to his working life.

Away from work Andy is a keen runner and has completed the London Marathon five times. He also enjoys playing golf and is a season ticket holder at Spurs.

Carpe diem

Rich Young

Rich has worked within the building industry for over 30 years, starting on the tools. He has a can-do attitude and together with his extensive knowledge of fit out and refurbishment he successfully manages all his projects.

Friendly, hardworking and approachable, Rich believes his trade background enables him to build strong working relationships with all involved, from clients to suppliers. He likes a challenge and he strives to produce quality projects that the team can be proud of.

At weekends Rich likes to spend his spare time with family and friends or walking the dogs. He has a passion for anything with 2 wheels and owns a classic motorcycle that is his summer hobby, he can also be found taking part in off road enduro motorcycling with an occasional bit of mountain biking thrown in!

Jordan Halewood

Jordan’s experience comes from a trade background where he started as an electrical apprentice and worked his way up to project manager. He worked for a number of our supply chain members on some of our most prestigious projects before joining us as services manager.

Jordan brings an energetic enthusiasm to all his projects. Friendly and likeable Jordan gets great satisfaction from seeing the project through to completion knowing he has been part of its success. He is always keen to expand his knowledge and gain experience.

Away from the office Jordan enjoys socialising with friends and is a big football fan and is a huge Liverpool supporter.

You only get out of life what you put into it.

Jamie Saunders

Dedicated and hardworking Jamie brings positive energy to his role as Business Development Manager. A recommendation led him to pursue a career in the construction industry and now with several years of experience in the position, he is concentrating his knowledge on assisting both our London and Regions teams.

Jamie is easygoing and enjoys the flexibility of his role, getting to meet new people and visiting our exciting projects. A real people person, his friendly personality is ideally suited to put clients and the project team at ease.

Away from work, he loves spending time with his young family, or you’ll find him doing something active either down at the gym or playing football or rugby. He also likes to travel and took time out a few years ago to travel the world.

Rory Gillespie

After a brief spell away, Rory re-joined our project management team in early 2022. Prior to this, he was one of our very own project managers having joined our graduate scheme in 2017 and gaining a Master’s Degree in Construction Management. During his time with us, Rory has worked on a variety of high-profile, high-value projects.

Proactive, practically minded, and not one for sitting behind a desk, Rory enjoys being involved with a project from day one and seeing it through to completion. He likes meeting and working with a wide variety of people, facing new challenges, and knowing every day is different on site.

Away from the office, Rory is an all-around sports fan, playing rugby from a young age, keeping fit at the gym, and is also a qualified ski instructor. When time permits, he also likes to spend time catching up with friends and colleagues.

Chris Marshall

Chris has been with us since 2007 and his easy-going style, combined with a steely determination to deliver projects, has fast made him operations director. A true team builder, thorough and dedicated.

Cerebral in his approach, Chris is a people person who encourages involvement and interaction at all levels. He has a strong academic background having graduated from university with a degree in Building Project Management.

A Geordie at heart he pays homage to the Liverbird and everything that says “This is Anfield”! Music and art of the hip-hop and rhythm and blues genres has resulted in Chris compiling a vinyl record collection numbering in excess of 3000! (Yes all HH and R&B)

Chris Blencowe

Chris has worked his way up to Environmental & Sustainability Director after working as an external consultant to Parkeray for a number of years. He is an experienced professional who specialises in undertaking sustainability assessments of a variety of non-domestic buildings. Chris is a BREEAM Accredited Professional, LEED AP and an On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor.

He enjoys working closely with project teams to ensure that the scheme achieves its sustainability goals in the most cost-effective manner. Chris has worked on a number of large-scale and high-profile developments in and around the City of London including 20 Fenchurch Street, Principal Place and Moorgate Exchange, working for clients such as Google, Waitrose, Volkswagen Financial Services and Bloomberg. His experience with sustainability assessment methods means that he has a broad knowledge of the sustainability issues faced by different projects.

Chris keeps himself busy at the weekends cycling, walking the dog, or just spending quality time with his young family. His newest hobby is green woodcarving, a form of traditional woodworking applying different carving techniques using traditional edged tools
