As Operations Director Greg oversees and provides support on projects for our Interiors team. Joining us in 2011 with a distinguished background in commercial management, Greg is dedicated and personable and always goes the extra mile to build relationships with our clients.
He is one of those guys that people enjoy working with. His relaxed style coupled with his strong desire to always ‘come out the other end smiling and with a handshake’ has seen him successfully manage some of our most prestigious projects.
Greg grew up on a farm in his native South Africa so rugby and all things connected seem to dominate Greg’s social life and loves nothing better than to relax with friends, enjoy a pint and regale a tale or two of how his beloved Springboks became world champions (three times!).
Mondays are a problem!
Gordon joined the Parkeray services team in spring 2013 and brings with him a wealth of services experience. Gordon started out as an electrical engineer and moved into services management when asked to by a client. He has worked on various projects including the Houses of Parliament, the MOD, further afield at the Sultan of Oman’s Palace and also in New Zealand where he spent 3 years.
He encourages everyone around him to enjoy their work as much as he does, creating a positive working experience. Industrious hardworking and once described as pragmatic, he just keeps going and says if it needs to get done – it gets done!
Outside of work Gordon can occasionally be found on the golf course, riding his motorbike or watching Arsenal, although most of his spare time at the weekend is spent having fun with his family.
Dean joined our commercial team in 2014, having graduated in 2011 with a BSc Quantity Surveying from the University of Greenwich. During his time with us he has delivered a variety of projects, notably 1 Canada Square, Douglas House and our home, Parkeray HQ.
The studious member of the commercial team, Dean is quietly driven & committed but always embraces the Parkeray ‘can do’ attitude in all that he does.
Away from work Dean enjoys spending time with his family. His three boys keep him plenty busy on the weekends, and what’s left of it he enjoys following various sports, especially Formula One!

Joseph’s enthusiasm for construction started when he came across sustainability. Intrigued, he applied for a sustainability officers’ position where he soon realised he wanted to be involved in projects from conception through to completion rather than one aspect. He completed his training through our trainee scheme with first class honors in his BSc Construction Management.
Joseph has been involved with some complex schemes and enjoys every different aspect of construction and how it comes together in the fast pace fit out sector. On site he relishes in finding workable solutions to get the job done.
In his spare time, Joseph is out quad biking or playing piano and writing music. As a teenager, he used to train in boxing, but during his time in Malaysia this developed into a passion for kickboxing.
Graham joined Parkeray in 2006 starting with what was the original Lite Team and after a number of years moving over to work on the larger, more high value Interiors project. and is totally committed to the team.

I’m Parkeray till I die…
Ellie was our preconstruction coordinator for two years before moving on to become secretary for the interiors team. Before joining Parkeray, Ellie spent four years working for a well-known main contractor as information manager.
Providing administration support both in the office and on site, Ellie’s all round skill-set has proved to be an asset to our organisation as well as her industry knowledge. Ellie’s bright and chirpy demeanour adds a bit of light-heartedness to what can be a highly-pressurised environment.
In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with friends and the odd cocktail or two. Ellie also enjoys travelling and spent eight months in South East Asia in 2014.

It does what it says on the tin
Bishak started working with Parkeray back in 2002 as a self employed labourer. In 2005, through his work ethic and commitment we decided we should bring him on board full time. He now works as a site foreman and strong number two, mainly to Alan West, Jon Pye and Gerry Gilbert.
Bishak runs the day to day logistics, environmental and safety management extremely well and in doing so has received plaudits from all comers. His commitment has earned him our first elite ‘outstanding achievement award’ for his contribution to the successful operation of our site in the Commonwealth Building of ICL’s busy Hammersmith campus.
Some of the initiatives that Bishak has instigated are extremely creative such as the introduction of the “Bishhook” and no loading red zones both of which deal really well with some of the old perennials we often have to deal with on site such as trailing cables, damage to existing finishes and congested circulation routes.
Bishak came over from Gdansk in 2002 and in his words has ‘been lucky to come to Parkeray’. A long way from his childhood dream of becoming a footballer! He was pretty good, perhaps not quite good enough to be a pro but certainly held together the Parkeray 5 a-side team who only drew one game…….. and lost all the others!!!
Out of work, when not spending time with his wife and two sons, he loves tinkering on his computer, he studied IT basic C++ programming before leaving Poland.
Jim is a previous winner of our annual H&S award for his work at Bedford Square. He has worked on prestigious projects such as Amnesty International UK, Unilever, ICL and the Science Museum.
He is a strong leader who demonstrates mutual respect and stands by his word. He views Parkeray very much as a family, with everyone being involved in the decision making process.
Jim loves the great outdoors and is part of the Parkeray Challenge Team. He enjoys most sports, plays golf and is regularly out on his bike.
It’s always a good day when you wake up breathing

Bartek’s cheerful easy going nature makes him an integral part of the site based team and he is also a previous winner of the company quarterly health and safety award.
Outside of work Bartek enjoys family outings with his two boys and cooking. To keep fit, he enjoys running with his husky dog and also rugby. Back in Poland, he played in the rugby league for many years. Snowboarding is also a favourite pastime of Bartek’s.
Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving
Our Project Director Karl brings a wealth of project management experience to our team along with his silver fern.
An avid Rugby fan, family guy and general sports enthusiast, when Karl’s hard-hat comes off, he is busy coaching mini league rugby at his local club. He is also pretty active and when he is not spending time with family and friends – in particular, his twin daughters and son, he loves running and snowboarding whenever he gets the chance.
On site, Karl enjoys the team culture, the banter and everyone working towards one common goal – successful project delivery and a satisfied client at handover.
